Come and watch the Oxford Blues take on Cambridge in the 90th Ice Hockey Varsity Match! The rivalry between these two teams is the oldest in ice hockey, going back to 1885. This year thus marks a special anniversary: the 125th Anniversary of the first Varsity Match and the Centenary of the 1910 Oxford Canadians, the first team to represent Canada internationally.
Oxford has a 5-match winning streak, but with both Cambridge and Oxford among the strongest teams in the UK this year, expect a fast-paced, physical match-up!
The rink's capacity is 700 and the Varsity Match always sells out, so get your tickets soon.
The match will take place at the Oxford Ice Rink (Oxpens Road, Oxford, OX1 1RX). There is parking next to and across from the rink, but please bring change as the parking machines don't take bills or cards.
